At what age should the child’s first visit to an orthodontist take place?
answer: The best age is between eight and ten years of age; children are examined free of charge, and the €10 practice charge does not apply. However if you feel unsure or suspect a major deformation in the tooth development come and see us. We’ll be glad to examine your child and advise you.

Does the health insurance pay for orthodontic treatment?
answer: Simple corrections in the position of teeth will not be covered by the health insurance; should a major correction be necessary, treatment costs will be covered, however under the maxim of: sufficient, economic and serving the purpose.
